WFP Climate Adaptation Innovation Accelerator Programme 2024

The World Food Programme Innovation Accelerator, supported by the Adaptation Fund, runs the Climate Adaptation Innovation Accelerator Programme to identify, support and scale innovations that enhance climate adaptation in vulnerable regions. It calls on innovators, entrepreneurs and changemakers to propose solutions addressing climate adaptation challenges in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon across the food system value chain. Selected startups participate in a four-day in-person bootcamp, followed by a six-month sprint programme with mentorship and technical assistance, with potential access to substantial equity-free funding.

Invitation to a four-day in-person bootcamp in Munich; access to WFP field operations and field testing opportunities; expert innovation management assistance from the WFP Innovation Accelerator; visibility across WFP channels; access to mentors from diverse sectors; six-month Sprint Programme with training, mentoring and technical assistance; equity-free funding opportunities; exposure to national and international funders through an online pitch event.

Your organization must be an established legal entity with presence or plans to operate in Egypt, Jordan, or Lebanon; the innovation must address climate adaptation priorities in one of these countries and be at least seed stage with a clear path to scale.
