Martin Gibbs Medal

The Martin Gibbs Medal is a biennial award presented by the American Society of Plant Biologists to an individual who has pioneered advances that have established new directions of investigation in the plant sciences. The recipient receives the medal and is invited to convene a Martin Gibbs Medal Symposium at the ASPB annual meeting the following year. The medal honors distinguished contributions to plant biology and has been awarded since 1993.
