BIOFIN Project National Specialist – Mexico City (On-Site Role)

The BIOFIN Initiative (Biodiversity Finance Initiative), led by UNDP, is seeking a National Specialist to join its team in Mexico City in an on-site role. The position involves advancing biodiversity finance strategies, coordinating with government stakeholders, private sector partners, and local communities, and leading related project activities. The role emphasizes policy development, project management, and financial planning within the BIOFIN program.

Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field is required; or a Bachelor’s degree in the above fields plus 2 additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s. 5 years (with Master’s) or 7 years (with Bachelor’s) of experience in project management, design, monitoring, and evaluation are required.
