UNIDO Project Associate – Industrial Future’s Talent Initiative (IFTI) 2026 in Vienna

The UNIDO Industrial Future’s Talent Initiative (IFTI) is a 24-month early-career internship programme based at UNIDO Headquarters in Vienna, Austria. It offers hands-on work experience in programme activities, project design and monitoring, research, and knowledge management for young professionals from eligible UNIDO Member States. Selected Project Associates receive a monthly gross salary and allowances, with additional benefits such as travel and health insurance support.

Monthly salary (approximately EUR 4,000 gross), travel allowances, medical insurance subsidy, mentoring and buddy arrangements.

Applicants must be between 23 and 28 years of age at the time of application, hold at least a first-level university degree, and have at least two years of relevant professional work experience. Nationality of one of the listed UNIDO Member States is required, with fluency in English.
