Computer Science Research Conference Scholarships

ACM-W provides scholarships to support undergraduate and graduate students in computer science and related programs to attend computer science research conferences. Awards are intended to increase participation and visibility of women in computing research communities. Scholarships are offered for both intra-continental and intercontinental conference travel. Applicants may apply for attendance at any computer science research conference, including non-ACM events, with some exclusions.

Travel scholarships up to $600 (intra-continental) or $1200 (intercontinental); possible complimentary conference registration and mentor support for certain ACM SIG conferences.

Undergraduate and graduate students in computer science and related programs; students not from traditional CS/CE/SE departments but working on computer science-related projects are encouraged to apply. Applicants who have previously received this scholarship are not eligible.

Create an ACM web account and complete the scholarship application including personal information, conference details, a statement of interest, and an advisor support letter which must be uploaded by the deadline.
