EASIAM Student Paper Prize

An annual student paper competition run by the East Asia Section of SIAM to recognise outstanding scholarship in applied mathematics and scientific computing. Awards are based solely on the merit and content of the student's contribution to the submitted paper. Normally up to three awards are given each year. Each recipient receives a framed certificate and a cash prize.

Framed certificate and a cash prize of US$300; normally up to three awards each year.

Applicants must be a Ph.D. student currently or a recent Ph.D. graduate (within one year of their thesis defense on the application deadline) at universities of East or Southeast Asia.

Submit a short vitae with publications and a complete paper by email; advisor should send a recommendation letter evaluating the paper and the student. All documents should be sent to Dr. Xiliang LU at Wuhan University (email provided).
