ODI Fellowship Scheme 2026-2028

The ODI Fellowship Scheme offers early-career economists and statisticians the chance to work as public sector civil servants on two-year contracts in low- and middle-income countries. Fellows are employed as local civil servants in various government and statistical institutions across regions including Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, the Pacific and the Western Balkans. The program provides professional development and a pathway to frontline public sector work.

Total compensation including housing allowance; professional growth and experience working in public sector institutions.

Open to candidates of all nationalities who are postgraduate economists or statisticians with an interest in development.
