AWARD Women in Agriculture Leadership Program Fellowship 2026 for the Africa-Australia Partnership for Climate Responsive Agriculture

The AWARD Women in Agriculture Leadership Program Fellowship 2026 is a career development initiative aimed at strengthening the capability, confidence, and influence of African women scientists to lead and participate in climate-resilient agricultural research. The program combines leadership development, mentoring partnerships, and technical training to enhance Fellows’ capabilities and position them as influential actors in agrifood systems. It targets African women agricultural scientists from across six African countries and includes mentoring and several training courses on leadership, gender integration in climate adaptation, and science communication.

Applicants must be African women scientists with at least seven years of experience in agriculture or related fields, hold a master’s degree in a relevant discipline, be a national of a target country and residing in Africa, and be proficient in English or French.
