Government Scholarships for Indian Students in 2026/2027

A limited number of bilateral government scholarships (three places) for the 2026/2027 academic year to undertake study or research visits at Czech public institutions of higher education. Available to university/college students, graduates and Ph.D. candidates, and exceptionally to academic staff for relevant exchange programmes. The scholarship provides a monthly stipend, subsidised dormitory accommodation and meals, and waives the visa application fee; it does not cover travel or medical insurance.

Up to 10 months tuition-free study/research stay; monthly stipend (12,000 or 13,000 CZK depending on level); discounted dormitory accommodation; subsidised meals at dormitory; no visa application fee.

University/college students or graduates and Ph.D. candidates; exceptionally academic staff members when the exchange programme involves this target group. Applicants must intend to undertake study or research visits at Czech public institutions of higher education.

Submit one original paper set of all required documents to the Embassy address by the deadline; the Embassy will select candidates and substitutes, then send a special link for selected applicants to complete online submission and upload documents.
