Grants for Women and Children's Rights (Tanzania) - Call for Proposals

A funding round by Women Fund Tanzania-Trust to support initiatives promoting the rights of women, girls and children in Tanzania. The program operates in three funding windows with different grant sizes and target recipients, focusing on areas such as movement building, leadership and election rights, economic empowerment, environmental justice, violence prevention, educational rights and research/documentation. Applicants submit a concept note using forms provided by WFT on their website.

Provision of project grants within specified funding windows and opportunities for capacity building, networking and movement-strengthening support.

WFT-Trust is inviting applications from legal entities promoting rights of women, girls and children in Tanzania; specific windows target grassroots women rights organizations, community-based groups, registered entities and larger national women’s rights organizations with institutional capacity.

Submit a concept note (5–7 pages) with attachments (e.g. registration, constitution) and complete the grant application forms available on WFT’s website.
