Teen Volunteer Summer Camp in Costa Rica

A chaperoned summer volunteer camp for 16 and 17 year olds run by International Volunteer HQ offering community volunteering, cultural activities, sports and tourism activities in Costa Rica. Participants join for 1–3 weeks across two main start windows in June and July 2026. The program includes accommodation, meals, local transport, guided tours and supervised activities. Activities take place in San José or Manuel Antonio depending on the week chosen.

Counselors 24/7; airport pick-up/drop-off; host family accommodation; breakfast, lunch, dinner daily; all tours and social activities; private transport to activities; official volunteer certificate; souvenir camp t-shirts; WiFi and computer lounge; salsa and cooking classes; on-site snack bar.

Volunteers must be 16 or 17 years old at program start, speak English, provide two character reference letters, and those over 18 at start must provide a criminal background check; adequate volunteer travel insurance is required.
