The University of Global Health Equity Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2026/2027

Fully funded scholarship for the Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MSc in HPE) at UGHE, targeted at African healthcare professionals. The program aims to prepare health educators and leaders to design, deliver, and evaluate equitable health professions programs across Africa, with additional mentorship, leadership and innovation components. Benefits include tuition coverage, stipends, and accommodation for in-person components, with both online and in-person sessions supported.

Full tuition, travel and health insurance for Rwanda sessions, monthly stipend, laptop, accommodation and meals, mentorship and onboarding support, and potential fellowship opportunities.

Applicants must be 35 or under at the time of application, residents and citizens or hold refugee status in an African country, and have completed a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field. Prior teaching, supervision or educational leadership experience is preferred, with institutional endorsement required if currently employed.
