TWAS Research Professors in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Programme 2025/2026 (Fully Funded)

The TWAS Research Professors in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Programme provides TWAS Fellows and TWAS Young Affiliates/Alumni with appointments as TWAS Research Professors for one year, visiting a host institution in an LDC for two to four weeks. TWAS provides travel support while the host centre covers living expenses. The programme aims to help research groups in LDCs strengthen links with TWAS members and support advanced training and research activities.

Economy class travel and additional travel expenses paid by TWAS; honorarium; host institution covers local living expenses.

Only TWAS Fellows and TWAS Young Affiliates/Alumni are eligible for appointment; requests must be submitted by research groups/scientific institutions in Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
