TWAS-SN Bose Postgraduate Fellowship Programme 2025 for young foreign scientists from developing countries

The TWAS-SN Bose Postgraduate Fellowship Programme supports foreign scholars from developing countries to pursue postdoctoral research in the physical sciences at the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science in Kolkata, India. The programme is administered by TWAS and the S.N. Bose Centre, and targets researchers who wish to conduct postdoctoral work in physics, mathematics, or related life sciences disciplines.

Applicants must be from developing countries (excluding India), be no more than 45 years old on 31 December of the application year, hold a PhD in physics, mathematics or physical chemistry or in any branch of life sciences, be regularly employed in a developing country, be accepted by a department of the S.N. Bose National Centre, and provide evidence of English proficiency and intent to return home after the fellowship.

Applications must be submitted via the online portal; an Acceptance Letter from the S.N. Bose National Centre is required at submission or by the deadline.
