Her Voice, Her Vision: An Essay Writing Competition for Young Nigerian Girls

The Her Voice, Her Vision Essay Competition invites girls in secondary schools across Nigeria to share their experiences and aspirations for a gender-responsive, inclusive, and quality education system. The competition aims to amplify girls’ voices and gather actionable insights to inform educational policies and practices, with prizes and recognition at the DARE Conference.

Certificates of participation to all participants; cash prizes for top places; recognition at the DARE Conference; publication opportunities for selected entries.

Open to young girls aged 13-19 years, in Junior and Senior Secondary schools, currently enrolled in an educational institution; one submission per participant; essays must be original work.
