Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for Wards of States/UTs Police Personnel Martyred During Terror/Naxal Attacks

Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme is a scholarship programme under the National Defence Fund. It provides higher technical and professional education support for the dependent wards and widows of CAPFs, Assam Rifles, and from the 2019-20 session also for dependent wards of States/UTs Police Personnel martyred during Terror/Naxal attacks.

Total 2000 new scholarships per academic year (1000 for boys and 1000 for girls), with an additional 500 scholarships for dependent wards of martyrs.

Dependent wards and widows of CAPFs & AR, and from 2019-20 dependent wards of States/UTs Police Personnel martyred during Terror/Naxal attacks.
