CIHR Fall 2026 RiT Program

The CIHR Reviewer in Training (RiT) Program provides hands-on experience in CIHR’s Project Grant peer review process for Early Career Researchers. It runs twice annually during the Spring and Fall Project Grant Competitions, offering structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to committee deliberations. To apply as a Mentee, candidates must meet CIHR’s definition of an Early Career Researcher and hold an independent research-related appointment at a CIHR-eligible institution by September 9, 2026; they must not have previously participated as a RiT participant or reviewer in CIHR’s Project Grant competition.
