Next Wave Fund 2026

The Next Wave Fund is a strategic support program backed by Google and Kickstarter to empower early-stage technology startups and small businesses. It provides a $10,000 pledge toward a crowdfunding goal, plus mentorship, training from Google, and access to a global entrepreneurial ecosystem to help launch and scale your idea in technology, gaming, and related fields.

Funding toward crowdfunding, mentorship from Kickstarter’s Design & Technology team, free Google training and certifications, access to Kickstarter’s community, marketing and promotion opportunities, and potential progression to Google Accelerator programs

The primary applicant must be 18 years or older, at least one team member must be a U.S. citizen or resident or hold an O-1 visa, the project must focus on technology or digital/physical gaming, and the project’s bank account must be located in the United States.

Submit an application (rolling basis); selections reviewed by Google and Kickstarter; notifications within six weeks of submission
