AU Digital & Innovation Fellowship Program 2026–2027 for African Youth

The AU Digital & Innovation Fellowship Program is a 12-month immersive fellowship designed to empower Africa’s brightest young digital innovators to contribute to digital transformation, public sector innovation, and good governance within African Union institutions. The program places selected fellows within AU institutions for a full year, working with policymakers and technical teams to design practical digital solutions and strengthen governance systems. It is developed and hosted by the African Union and implemented by enpact, with support from the GIZ DataCipation Programme.

Monthly stipend, equipment budget, learning budget, professional development, hands-on experience within AU institutions, on-ground bootcamps, delegation trips, and exposure to continental and international stakeholders.

Selected fellows will be young digital innovators from Africa, engaging in technology, data, or digital governance projects during a 12-month placement.
