Joan Shorenstein Fellowship Program

The Joan Shorenstein Fellowship Program is a research and professional fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School's Shorenstein Center, bringing together journalists, scholars, policymakers, and students to develop original work and engage with the academic community. Fellows publish policy-focused content and participate in workshops and events with students. The program provides stipends and financial support based on need and the scope of the fellow’s work.

Open to experienced professionals from various fields, including journalists with at least ten years of experience, politicians and high-level political communications professionals, scholars with at least ten years in relevant fields, policymakers who have held significant government roles, and documentary filmmakers (through a separate program).
