The ASEAN-Japan Youth Forum 2025 – Take Actions for Social Change

The ASEAN-Japan Youth Forum 2025: Take Actions for Social Change (TASC) is a fully funded youth exchange programme bringing together undergraduate students from ASEAN countries and Japan to tackle plastic waste. The programme combines online seminars with field visits, enabling participants to co-create sustainable solutions and present their initiatives at the forum’s culmination. It provides hands-on collaboration experience, engagement with experts and communities, and development of leadership and project-design skills.

Fully funded participation; hands-on experience in international collaboration and project development; engagement with experts and communities; skills development in leadership, communication, and project design; opportunity to contribute to environmental impact and policy dialogue.

Undergraduate students enrolled full-time who are citizens of ASEAN member countries, and who have not lived abroad for more than one year after age 12; must be proficient in English and able to participate in both online and travel components.

Fill out the application form provided by the organisers, submit a personal essay, provide a recommendation letter from an academic advisor, and submit all required documents in English by the deadline.
