ABCD Future Environmental Leaders Scholarships 2026

Two scholarships, each lasting 9 months, target doctoral students from Developing Countries to support research that can be translated into practical solutions. The research stays are hosted at German institutions (RWTH Aachen University, Technische Universität Dresden, and UNU FLORES in Dresden) with mobility, accommodation, living expenses, insurances and travel included. Applicants are encouraged to propose research aligned with the ABCD Centre Clusters themes.

Applicants must be doctoral students who commenced their PhD studies within the last three years and must be registered as full-time PhD students at universities in Developing Countries.
