Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030

The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) is a government-funded programme that enables international students, researchers, and academic staff to pursue higher education and research in Canada. It supports a wide range of academic pathways, including vocational training, Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes, as well as research projects and short-term sessions like summer and winter schools. Approximately 600 scholars are selected each year from 26 eligible countries, with emphasis on gender balance and alignment with development goals.

Funding details are tailored to each project.

Open to citizens of one of 26 eligible partner countries; selection is conducted through project partnerships between Canadian higher education institutions and partner universities.

Apply through international partner project partnerships; identify a project of interest, contact the resource person associated with that project, and submit required documents through the partner's designated process.
