Schwartz Reisman Institute Graduate Fellowships 2026

The Schwartz Reisman Institute Graduate Fellowships offer a funded, one-year research fellowship for graduate students at the University of Toronto to study the social, ethical, and human impact of emerging technologies. Fellows receive mentorship, access to interdisciplinary events, and a stipend, with potential renewal of affiliation beyond the fellowship year.

CAD 7,500 stipend; renewal of affiliation; access to interdisciplinary seminars, conferences, and research events; enhanced visibility within university and global networks; mentorship opportunities aligned with initiatives such as AI and the future of work.

Open to current graduate students at the University of Toronto (any campus); PhD students are eligible, exceptional master’s students may be considered; research must address the social impacts of technology.
