The Lewis Scholars' IMHOTEP Project is an 11-week summer internship program focused on biostatistics, epidemiology, and occupational safety and health. It begins with two weeks of intensive public health coursework and continues with nine weeks of one-on-one mentored research placements at CDC, academic institutions, government agencies, or community-based organizations. Interns participate in seminars and workshops, complete 16 hours of community service, produce a research manuscript, and give an oral poster presentation. The program provides a stipend, campus housing, course credit, and travel support.

Requisitos

Current junior, senior, or recent graduate (within one year) of an undergraduate institution with a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher; U.S. citizen or permanent resident currently residing in the United States; must not have participated previously in any Lewis Scholars Program and/or Ferguson Fellowship Program.
