African Union Commission Internship Programme

The African Union Commission Internship Programme places young Africans at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa and at field offices for professional work experience in continental governance and development. Internships last 3–6 months and are intended for students enrolled in or recently graduated from undergraduate programmes. The programme provides a monthly stipend and accommodation support in Addis Ababa and may include other financial benefits.

Monthly stipend; accommodation support in Addis Ababa; tuition coverage and possible living expenses and travel cost support; professional experience at AU headquarters and field offices for 3–6 months.

Open to students from the listed African countries who are studying at the undergraduate level.

Prepare academic transcripts, recommendation letters and a personal statement and submit the application via the official AU internships website before the deadline.
