Blended Executive Program on Africa’s Just Energy Transition 2025 for Young African Academics & Energy Officials

The Blended Executive Program on Africa’s Just Energy Transition 2025 is a hybrid, intensive training designed to build capacity in science, innovation, and policy within Africa’s energy sector. It is targeted at junior African researchers, early-career lecturers, and young government officials working on or interested in Africa’s energy transition. The program combines online learning with in-person residential training in Italy and provides international exposure and expert-led instruction.

Tuition coverage, accommodation, meals, insurance during in-person sessions, international networking opportunities, and exposure to leading academics and professionals in sustainable energy, research, and policy.

Open to early-career academics (junior lecturers, young researchers, or professors at African universities or research centers) and young officials from Ministries or Local Energy Authorities. Eligible countries include Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Morocco, Mozambique, Tanzania, Tunisia.
