Backing International Small Restaurants Grant Program 2025

The Backing International Small Restaurants Grant Program 2025 provides grant funding to independent restaurants to support improvements and long-term sustainability. It targets restaurants that are owned or operated by, or serve, individuals experiencing economic hardship and are located in Toronto or Montreal, Canada. Twenty restaurants will each receive $20,000 to support their business.

Each of 20 selected restaurants receives $20,000 to support their business operations and improvements.

Restaurants must be located in Toronto, Canada; open for business for more than one year; have a brick-and-mortar location; independently owned (not part of a franchise with more than five locations); and annual revenue under $1.5 million in Toronto.
