Broadcaster Envelope Program – Diverse Languages 2025

The Broadcaster Envelope Program – Diverse Languages 2025 provides funding to Canadian broadcasters for productions in languages other than English, French, or Indigenous-Canadian languages. It supports the creation and production of linear content across genres, with flexibility in funding and an alternative access option for broadcasters without a direct envelope allocation.

Direct funding to support the creation and production of linear content in diverse languages; flexibility in financing; applicability to multiple genres; possibility to participate via Alternative Access if no direct envelope allocation.

Applicants must be Canadian-controlled, have their head office in Canada, be in good standing with relevant industry associations, and ensure the project’s primary language is a diverse language other than English, French, or an Indigenous Canadian language.
