The Research Fellowship (Experimental Physics) at CERN is a funded, cohort-style research position in which fellows join an experimental physics group to develop and lead an independent research programme. Fellows contribute to data analysis, detector design, construction and/or operations and participate in seminars, workshops and collaborative projects within CERN’s scientific community. The fellowship is aimed at early-career researchers with a PhD in experimental particle physics or a closely related field and research experience aligned with CERN’s experimental facilities.

Beneficios

Monthly net stipend (7004–7425 CHF), 30 days paid leave plus 2 weeks closure, health insurance coverage, CERN Pension Fund membership, family/child allowances, relocation package, and training (including language classes).

Requisitos

By the application deadline applicants must have a PhD (or will obtain it within six months) and have no more than six years’ research experience after completion of the PhD; applicants must not have had a previous CERN fellow or graduate contract and CERN staff members are not eligible.
