It is targeted primarily at biomedical and basic-research projects conducted at universities and research institutions. Funded projects can request personnel and material costs for up to 48 months, with specific rules following the FWF programmes Einzelprojekte or Klinische Forschung.

Requisitos

Researchers at universities and other research institutions conducting basic research in the specified topic area; clinical studies must meet strict patient cohort inclusion per the Canadian Consensus Criteria (CCC) and/or International Consensus Criteria (ICC).

Solicitud

Submission via the FWF electronic application portal elane following the FWF guidelines for Einzelprojekte or Klinische Forschung; an additional elane form must explain relevance to the topic. Clinical projects must show ethics committee approval or endorsement by 2026-04-01.
