Programa de Cooperación Científica ECOS-ANID (Convocatoria 2023)

The Programa de Cooperación Científica ECOS-ANID is a joint Chile–France research cooperation programme that funds collaborative projects and researcher mobility between teams in Chile and France. Projects must be based on an existing active 'Proyecto Marco' in at least the first year and have a duration of up to three years. The programme emphasizes scientific excellence, multidisciplinary approaches, involvement of young researchers and production of co-authored publications and potential patents.

Annual project funding from ANID up to CLP $7.000.000; support for researcher and postdoctoral mobility; expected outputs include co-authored publications and potential patents.

In Chile, researchers from universities, research centres or institutes, public or private non-profit, may apply; teams from both Chile and France must have an active Proyecto Marco. Certain applicants are ineligible (e.g., those with an ongoing ECOS-ANID project as responsible or co-investigator, or with deficient final reports).
