The Stanford Math Tournament is an annual mathematics competition for high school students run by Stanford students through the Stanford Undergraduate Mathematics Organization (SUMO) in partnership with Stanford’s math department. It runs two parallel divisions: an onsite tournament on Stanford’s campus and SMT Online, a virtual edition open worldwide. The contest offers individual and team rounds with subject tests (Algebra, Calculus, Discrete Math, Geometry) or a General Test option. Onsite competitors attend a weekend event with rounds, team competition, and event-provided meals and a tournament shirt.

Requisitos

Onsite SMT: high school students currently living in the United States, age 14 or older, register through a school or organization team (5–6 students) or as an individual placed on a team. SMT Online: any student in high school or below from any country may register a team of 5–6 students or register as an individual.

Register as a school/organization team of 5–6 students or as an individual (individuals may be placed on teams); SMT Online allows direct individual registration from any country.
