Información

The IMA High School Medical Internships are short-term clinical placements for high school students in international destinations such as Kenya and Peru. Programs last two to twelve weeks (most participants do at least four weeks) and include structured rotations in hospital departments, community health outreach, medical language instruction, seminars on global health, and cultural immersion. Interns observe patient consultations, participate in supervised non-invasive tasks, attend a global health lecture series, and take part in service-learning projects and weekend excursions. Programs are offered during summer and gap year periods and include mentorship from licensed providers and faculty-led instruction.
