Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP) Youth Award 2025

The GBEP Youth Award 2025 recognizes outstanding research in bioenergy conducted by students and early-career researchers. The 2025 edition focuses on Africa, with the awardee presenting their research during a GBEP Bioenergy Week session in Kampala, Uganda, and receiving an award certificate, along with opportunities to present at related events in 2025.

Award certificate; opportunity to present research at the 12th GBEP Bioenergy Week in Kampala and to present at other GBEP-organized international events in 2025.

Applicants must be current Bachelor's, Master's or PhD students or recent graduates who completed their studies after December 2024; Bachelor's and Master's students must be 30 or younger; PhD students must be 35 or younger.

Submit a completed application by 30 April 2025 to GBEP-Secretariat@fao.org with the required documents (application form, CV, proof of student status, and research poster).
