SAKURA SCIENCE High School Program

The SAKURA SCIENCE High School Program is a week-long exchange programme that invites excellent high school students and their supervisors from foreign countries to visit Japan. Participants attend special classes taught by leading scientists, visit prominent Japanese universities and research institutes, take part in social activities with Japanese high school students, and experience Japanese culture. The programme aims to foster interest in science and technology and to develop future international bridges in science and technology.

Participation in special classes by leading scientists (including Nobel laureates), visits to Japanese universities and research institutes, social activities with Japanese high school students, visits to embassies in Japan, and cultural experiences.

Excellent high school students and their supervisors from foreign countries (mainly Asia) are invited to participate.
