Alympiade

The Alympiade is an international mathematical modelling competition held simultaneously at schools in multiple countries. Teams of three to four upper-secondary students work on complex, real-world modelling problems and produce written solution reports; successful teams may advance to further rounds. The competition emphasises data analysis, assumption building, model construction, testing strategies and presentation of results. It fosters teamwork, communication and problem-solving under timed conditions.

Experience in mathematical modelling and teamwork, development of data-analysis and problem-solving skills, possibility to advance to the next competition round.
