2026 All-Africa University Games

The 2026 All-Africa University Games is a continental multi-sport event for university student-athletes, taking place from September 8 to 16, 2026. The Games feature competitions across 21 sports, with the American University in Cairo co-hosting and hosting competitions in 10 of those sports. Approximately 2,000 student-athletes representing universities from multiple African countries are expected to participate. The event includes an opening ceremony and a continent-wide torch relay.
