Hertha-Sponer-Preis

The Hertha-Sponer-Preis is an annual prize of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft awarded for outstanding scientific work in the field of physics to a woman researcher. The award aims to encourage younger researchers and to increase the visibility of women in physics. The prize is typically presented at a DPG conference and the laureate is expected to give a lecture at the same or a suitable DPG meeting.
