Outreachy May 2022 internships

Outreachy is an internship programme that supports diversity in free and open source software by matching participants with open source communities for paid internships. The May 2022 internships ran from May 30, 2022 to August 26, 2022 and included a project selection/contribution period followed by a three-month internship placement. The programme is hosted by the Software Freedom Conservancy with support from organisations such as Red Hat, GNOME, and Otter Tech.

Paid internship placement from May 30, 2022 to Aug. 26, 2022; stipend payments of $3000 (issued July 11, 2022) and $4000 (issued Aug. 24, 2022).

Initial applications opened Feb 4, 2022 with an initial deadline of March 2, 2022; contributors then worked on projects and final applications were due April 22, 2022. Applications are submitted through the Outreachy application portal.
