Courses for Lithuanian-language Education Providers 2025

Courses for Lithuanian-language education providers 2025 are 15-calendar-day contact courses for teachers and instructors working in Lithuanian-language education institutions abroad. The programme aims to deepen Lithuanian language knowledge, improve didactics and educational psychology competences, and provide additional knowledge of Lithuanian culture, history and contemporary life. Four Lithuanian higher education institutions will run summer course editions in June–July 2025 with funding provided by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation.

EUR 420 stipend for contact-course participants; course fee paid; language, didactics and cultural training.

Applicants must work as a teacher or instructor in a Lithuanian-language education institution abroad and have Lithuanian language ability at least at B1 level. Support is available to foreign citizens (except citizens of Russia and Belarus) and to foreign Lithuanians.

Apply through the chosen organising higher-education institution's application system and submit required documents (proof of employment in a Lithuanian-language education institution abroad, one recommendation, and documents proving Lithuanian origin if applicable). Applicants may apply to only one institution.
