Leibniz-Professorinnenprogramm

The Leibniz-Professorinnenprogramm is a funding programme that supports internationally highly qualified women scientists for professorial appointments at Leibniz Institutes. Selected candidates are supported through a W2/W3 professorship (either permanent or tenure-track) and a package for a five-year period. The programme provides funding for an adequate basic equipment and access to the Leibniz Best Minds network for networking and professional development. Funding is intended to recruit and retain outstanding female researchers for Leibniz Institutes and to advance their next career step.

The programme is aimed at internationally highly qualified women scientists of all disciplines. Both external candidates and candidates already working at Leibniz Institutes can be proposed; funding requires a completed joint appointment procedure with the respective university.
