SYL Board for 2027 election

The SYL Board for 2027 is elected at the General Assembly in November 2026. The board consists of six members and a Chair, and is elected by assembly representatives from each Students’ Union. Working in the Board is full-time and requires living in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area; board members are paid a monthly fee and the Chair/Vice Chair receive additional amounts.

Monthly salary; experience in student governance and leadership

The Board is elected by assembly representatives (delegates) selected by each Students’ Union; working in the Board is full-time and requires living in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

Interested candidates are identified via their Students’ Union; candidates’ written presentations are published on the SYL website, followed by a candidates’ panel and the General Assembly election.
