ACLS Digital Justice Seed and Development Grants 2026-2027

The ACLS Digital Justice Seed and Development Grants 2026-2027 provide funding for digital projects in the humanities and interpretative social sciences that engage with the histories of people of color and historically marginalized communities through ethical use of digital tools. The program offers two grant types: Seed Grants for start-up projects and Development Grants for more advanced work, with amounts specified for each category. All grant recipients may receive financial planning coaching from the Nonprofit Finance Fund to support long-term sustainability.

Grant funding for project costs and access to financial planning coaching to plan for long-term stewardship and sustainability.

Project’s principal investigator must be a scholar in the humanities and/or the interpretative social sciences.
