CheckDesks Fellowships in West Africa 2025

The CheckDesks Fellowships in West Africa 2025 offers a seven-month incubation programme for established media organisations or watchdog civil society organisations based in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal to help them set up or expand CheckDesks. The fellowships are part of the project Strengthening Resilient Information Ecosystems in Africa, co-financed by the European Union and implemented by Code for Africa and partners. The programme provides support to strengthen fact-checking capabilities, publishing output, and organisational development.

Financial grant to cover activities and costs; publishing support to disseminate outputs; organisation-building online consultations; amplification and growth support.

Established media organisations or watchdog civil society organisations based in Côte d’Ivoire or Senegal.
