Hiring Our Heroes’ Small Business Grant Program 2025

This program awards five veteran- and military spouse-owned small businesses with a one-time grant of $10,000 to grow and support their business. It is organized with support from the FedEx Founder’s Fund and USAA Small Business Insurance, and is administered through Hiring Our Heroes.

One-time grant of $10,000 for each recipient; recognition of veteran- or military-spouse-owned business contributions.

Applicants must be a legal resident and currently reside in the contiguous 48 states, Alaska, or Hawaii; must be 51% or more owner of a for-profit business owned by an honorably-discharged veteran or military spouse with 3 to 20 employees; and the business must have annual revenue under $5 million with demonstrated financial need in an economically vulnerable community.
