International Excellence Scholarships (Rest of the world)

The International Excellence Scholarships (Rest of the world) at Swansea University are merit-based tuition scholarships for overseas fee-paying students studying full-time, on-campus at undergraduate or master’s level. The scholarship rewards demonstrated academic excellence and supports students in their first year of study. Award amounts are applied as tuition fee reductions and combined Swansea University scholarship funding cannot exceed GBP 7,000. Undergraduates who achieve 70%+ in Year 1 may receive an additional payment in Year 2.

Tuition fee reduction of up to GBP 5,000 in year one; additional GBP 2,000 for eligible undergraduates in year two; combined Swansea University scholarship funding capped at GBP 7,000.

Applicants must be classified as overseas fee payers, hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study at undergraduate or master’s level at Swansea University for 2026/27, be applying for a full-time, on-campus course, be self-funded (not sponsored by government or third-party organisations), and demonstrate academic excellence. UG–PG progression students and alumni are eligible to apply.
