Edinburgh Futures Institute Visiting Fellowship Programme 2025/2026

The Edinburgh Futures Institute Visiting Fellowship Programme invites researchers and academics to spend 3-6 months visiting the University of Edinburgh. Fellows engage with the local research community through guest lectures, seminars, and potential collaboration on grant proposals or teaching, contributing to the Futures Institute's interdisciplinary work across several research areas. Successful applicants may receive financial support includes relocation funds and travel/visa cost coverage, with additional assistance for LMIC applicants.

Financial support for relocation, travel and visa cost reimbursement, potential additional support for LMICs, opportunities to give guest lectures or seminars and collaborate on grants.

Applicants must hold an open-ended position within an academic institution at the time of their planned visit and be based outside the University of Edinburgh; applications from LMICs and underrepresented groups are encouraged.
