The Early Career Training Programme (ECTP) provides selected early career researchers with a 2–3 week laboratory visit in host labs in Spain or Portugal immediately preceding the FENS Forum. The programme offers short, focused research projects, hands-on training in techniques and data analysis, networking and opportunities to establish collaborations. Successful applicants receive a stipend to help cover costs of the visit and meet senior and junior scientists in the host lab.

2–3 week laboratory placement in a host lab in Spain or Portugal, EUR 1000 stipend, training in techniques and data analysis, networking and potential collaborations with host lab scientists.

Requisitos

Early Career Researchers (ECRs): postgraduate students (MSc, MD, PhD, or clinical trainee) with proof of enrolment; researchers within the first five years after completion of their highest degree (extended for justified leaves); applicants must not be currently working in a laboratory in Spain or Portugal, must be registered to attend FENS Forum 2026 and have a first-author abstract submitted to FENS Forum 2026.
