Margaret Burland Doctoral Scholarship

The Margaret Burland Doctoral Scholarship is awarded to support a DHSc, DMedSc or PhD student enrolled in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland. The scholarship provides tenure of up to 42 months full-time equivalent. One scholarship is offered, normally every four years. The value is up to $34,569 per annum in 2025 plus compulsory fees.

Annual stipend up to $34,569 (2025) and payment of compulsory fees; tenure up to 42 months FTE.

Applicants must be enrolled (or intend to enrol) in a DHSc, DMedSc or PhD in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
